          in macchina, volendo a piedi).

They are two distinct, small hamlets: in the hamlet further uphill, there is the Chapel of the Nativity
of the Virgin Mary, built in 1751 at the behest of Matteo Villot, a native of the hamlet, and rebuilt
in 1803 at the expense of the inhabitants, with an imposing bell-gable. There are also the remains
of a beautiful eighteenth-century sundial. (This hamlet can be reached by car, on foot if you want).
On y trouve également
vela. (Si raggiunge in macchina, volendo a piedi).
It is characterized by the typical houses close to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary, built in 1853:
the bell-gable is worthy of seeing.
(This hamlet can be reached by car, on foot if you want)
Amena borgata in altitudine, molto soleggiata
          macchina, volendo a piedi).

A pleasant hilltop hamlet, very sunny and subject to numerous restorations and renovations of an-
cient houses in the 90s: it is a popular destination for short excursions along the balcony path that
unites some of the most beautiful hamlets in Pragelato.
The chapel dedicated to Notre Dame des Neiges is noteworthy; it was built in 1772 with money of-
fered by Monsieur De Courten: in 1855 the inhabitants obtained permission to sell it and to build a
new one, which in 1857 was made a non-profit organization by Vittorio Emanuele II; the ancient
altar contains the tabernacle and is embellished with golden candlesticks.
The oven, the circular wooden fountain and an angular sundial with two dials with different mottos
and dates: the first (1872) is ‘En regardant l’heure qu’il est, pensez à la mort et tenez vous prêt’that
is “Looking at the time, think about death and be ready’, the second (1983) is ‘En regardant l’heure
qu’il est, souriez à la vie’ that is ‘Looking at the time, smile at life’. (It can be reached by car or on foot )
