nacle et est décoré de chandeliers dorés. A voir également le four, la fontaine circulaire en bois et une
méridienne angulaire avec deux cadrans portant des devises et des dates différentes : la première
(1872) récite « En regardant l’heure qu’il est, pensez à la mort et tenez vous prêt » et la deuxième
(1983), « En regardant l’heure qu’il est, souriez à la vie ». (Accessible en voiture voire même à pied)
Villardamont (‘l Viardamónt, 1787 m). Collegata a Via Nazionale,
ha in corso notevoli interventi di restauro e offre una splendida vista sulla Val
Troncea. Vi sorge la Cappella di San Giovanni Battista, costruita nel 1753 dal-
la popolazione della borgata con l’aiuto di Carlo Emanuele III: deterioratasi
nel corso degli anni, fu sostituita nel 1854 da un nuovo edificio dell’architetto
Giovanni B. Carlin di Oulx; all’interno troviamo la pala d’altare raffigurante San hamlets/les bourgades
Giovanni Battista, l’antico altare in marmo bianco, il prezioso tabernacolo do-
rato finemente decorato sormontato dal crocefisso.
Vi sono inoltre il forno comunitario, tre fontane di inizio ‘900, l’abbeveratoio
per il bestiame, due meridiane. (Si raggiunge in macchina, volendo a piedi).

Connected to Via Nazionale, it is undergoing considerable restoration work and offers a splendid
view over the Troncea Valley. The Chapel of St Giovanni Battista is located there; it was built in 1753
by the population of the hamlet with the help of Carlo Emanuele III: it deteriorated over the years
and was replaced in 1854 by a new building by the architect Giovanni B. Carlin from Oulx; inside
we find the altarpiece depicting St John the Baptist, the ancient altar in white marble, the valuable
finely-decorated golden tabernacle surmounted by a crucifix.
There are also a communal oven, three fountains from the early 1900s, the drinking trough for cattle,
two sundials. (This hamlet can be reached by car, on foot if you want).
Reliée à Via Nazionale, cette bourgade fait actuellement l’objet de grands travaux de restauration et
offre une vue splendide sur le Vallée Troncea. On peut y admirer la Chapelle de Saint-Giovanni-Batti-
sta, construite en 1753 par les habitants de la bourgade avec l’aide de Carlo Emanuele III : détériorée
au fil des ans, elle fut remplacée en 1854 par un nouvel édifice de l’architecte Giovanni B. Carlin
d’Oulx avec à l’intérieur le tableau d’autel représentant Saint-Jean-Baptiste, l’ancien autel en marbre
blanc, le précieux tabernacle doré finement décoré surmonté du crucifix.
A voir également le four communautaire, trois fontaines datant du début du XXe siècle, l’abreuvoir

con la Croce Sabauda (1763). Vi sorgeva una cappella dedicata al Santo Spiri-
to, anche se la festa patronale si celebra nella ricorrenza del Corpus Domini (la
Fétë ‘d Dìou). Per le Olimpiadi Invernali 2006 è stato realizzato il tracciato per
il fondo; ospita un campo da golf a 9 buche. (Si raggiunge in auto o a piedi).
A hamlet with a beautiful stone fountain decorated with the Savoy Cross (1763). There was a chapel
dedicated to the Holy Spirit, although the feast of the patron saint is celebrated on the anniversary of
Corpus Domini (la Fétë ‘d Dìou). For the 2006 Winter Olympics, the cross-country track was created;
the hamlet also has a 9-hole golf course. (This hamlet can be reached by car, on foot if you want).
Cette bourgade abrite une belle fontaine en pierre décorée de la Croix de Savoie (1763). S’y trouvait
également une chapelle dédiée au Saint Esprit, même si la fête patronale se célèbre à la Fête-Die (la
Fétë ‘d Dìou). Un tracé pour le ski de fond y a été réalisé pour les Jeux Olympiques d’Hiver de 2006 et
la bourgade accueille également un terrain de golf avec un parcours 9 trous.

Pattemouche (Pattëmoutsë, 1589 m). È la frazione più antica, in-
cendiata dai nazifascisti l’11 agosto 1944.
Per le Olimpiadi Invernali del 2006 vennero realizzati la funivia che raggiunge
Sestriere, il villaggio olimpico poi acquistato dal Club MED e il campo pratica
del golf. (Si raggiunge in macchina, volendo a piedi).
